When I got a call from Sarah & Gary asking me if I would be available to photograph their special day coming up in June 2016, there was only one thing I could say "Yes it would be a honour". I have known them both for a few years and I have been lucky enough to work with Sarah through different projects in the studio. Sarah and Gary are a lovely couple who obviously love each other very much.
I met up with them both on Sunday. It was a glorious hot and bright Spring day and we were heading out in Shanklin to get some photographs to celebrate their engagement and love for each other. An engagement shoot is a great opportunity for both myself and a couple to get out before the big day to see how we work together.
I first met up with them at Sarah's childhood family home which was a perfect location for some photos in its own right. After a cup of tea (mines Tea, 2 sugars & milk just in case I ever visit) we headed out in the surrounding area.
I soon came to learn that Gary loved climbing trees and he even had the t-shirt to prove it. Sarah soon plucked up the courage and whizzed up after him giving me the chance to get some unique images.
After burning lots of energy in the midday sun it was time to relax a little with a work along the path where we bumped in to a dog that took quite a shine to both Sarah & Gary. Don't worry I've omitted those pictures.
