Having been booked to photograph Jackie and Malcolm's special day in June, we invited them to come and have an engagement shoot at a location of their choice. The engagement shoot or pre-wedding shoot is a great opportunity for me to meet up with the happy couple informally where we can chat about the day and get a chance to know one another a little better.
Jackie and Malcolm picked a stunning location to have their shoot, Big Mead in Shanklin. Located at the top of Shanklin Old Village on Church Road, Big Mead looks like any other park but it is crammed with areas that are especially beautiful.
I had been lucky enough to shoot a wedding here just a week earlier so had had the chance to find some of the nicest places to go.
Jackie and Malcolm seemed to attract lots of ducks everywhere we went.
St Blasius Church yard offered some beautiful spots for some photographs.
The area around the lake is particularly picturesque at this time of the year.
Time for a little respite from the heat and bright sunshine under some trees.
We can not wait to capture Jackie and Malcolm's big day later on this month. We wish tem both the very best for their magical day and for many years to come. They are such a lovely couple who obviously love each other very much x
