Royal Princess Tea

January 3, 2018

Once upon a time...

I was invited to the Isle of Wight by a Royal Princess to attend a special tea party that she was hosting to raise money for a local registered charity, Daisy Chains IW.

I arrived at Languard Manor in Shanklin quite early on the morning of Sunday the 10th December 2017. As the grand door opened I was met by an array of Royalty who let me in to set up my equipment before the kingdoms guests arrived.

As always Languard Manor looked truly stunning but even the grandeur of the manor was quickly outshone as the little princess guests arrived to be met by their heroes who escorted them to their tables for either the Breakfast, Lunch or Tea Time sittings. I have to admit that I did shed a little tear as the guests arrived and their little faces lit up as they embarked on a magical experience.

After the little princesses had finished their tea in the grand dinning hall they were treated to a Dinner Dance Display before heading out to the Photography area where they each had their photograph taken with their favourite  princess. Each little princess got to take home a 6x4" Print in a Strut Mount.

(Above. a few photos from the event)

After having their photographs taken all the guests took their seats at the bottom of the staircase where they were captivated by a live medley of songs by the Royal hosts (See short video below). At the end of the performance every child took away a fabulous goody bag.

We always love working with Daisy Chains and have secure some dates with them in 2018 on some of their upcoming events.

Pop along to their Website and Facebook to find out more about the charity and fundraising events.
