Amanda & Richard @ Pendrell Hall
Family, love, fun and laughter is something that we all associate with Christmas time and having spent a wonderful Christmas at home with my own family, I was honoured to spend the day with Amanda and Richard and their family at the stunning Pendrell Hall nr Telford, Shropshire on the 27th December to capture the magic of a very special occasion, a wedding.
I love my job with a passion and weddings really do give me the chance to share my experience and images with others. I have to say this was by far the most fun wedding I have ever had the joy of documenting. Both Richard and Amanda had an obvious love for one another as well as a pursuit for fun.
Love these shoes... Do they do them in a size 9?
As the whole day was at the same venue, we were able to grab some photos of the boys getting ready too.
They both wrote their own vows that were both hilariously funny but sincere. Whilst mentioning forgiveness, Amanda took the opportunity to bumping Richards Jaguar.
As a winter wedding, we were a little restricted on timing for family photographs but the venue was perfect for getting a few in the warmth of the house.
That is not to say we didn't get a few crazy ones outside.
There was lots of meat to carve, so the most mature (polite speak for eldest) man on each table was assigned the task.
The singing waiters were superb, getting everyone up to dance and sing after they had eaten. I have never seen these guys before but they were a brilliant addition to the reception.
The first dance went off in true Richard and Amanda style, followed by the wedding band.
A perfect day had to eventually come to an end with sparklers in the grounds of the hall.
